I’ve been dealing with neuropathy waaayyy before I got old, so I’m willing to try just about anything. Even so, the results posted here sounds a little too good to be true. Cautionary Tail: I got on the supplement kick not long ago, and I can attest that just about every miracle supplement I’ve tried, has resulted in ‘some’ risky side effects. Unlike when I was younger, you don’t get as many ‘do overs’ once you pass a certain age. 🤷‍♂️

Can this be used as a PREVENTATIVE measure rather than just when an attack occurs? In other words, would doing this without experiencing attach lessen the odds of getting one? Or would the method potentially cause one?

My feet usually feel much better when I’m barefoot. They typically start hurting when I put fitting socks on, certain running shoes, my roller skates, pumps, heeled sandals, and my Latin dance shoes. Lately they’re also hurting when I put on sneakers and my ballet flats in the office, but I did go dancing for 8 hours two days ago. Does plantar fasciitis include the bottoms of the toes, the ball of the foot, and the side edges? I was lucky the outer side edges _didn’t_ hurt today as they usually do. I had to walk on the outer edges of my feet today because my toe bottoms and the back edges of my heels hurt. That area that would hit a wall if you were standing straight with your back against it? And the crook of your toes? Or is that something else? Are they part of plantar fasciitis? The bottom of my heel does occasionally hurt, but not nearly as much as those other parts I mentioned.

Okay so heres the thing If you feel nausea and lightheaded when moving from right to left or vice versa, then do the epley maneuver. If you feel nausea and lightheaded when moving your head from up to down then do the half somersault. Hope it helps

Yes, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) can cause vertigo episodes that last more than a few seconds. BPPV is the most common cause of vertigo, which is the feeling that you or your surroundings are spinning. BPPV episodes are usually brief, lasting a few seconds to less than a minute, but they can sometimes persist for days.

I went for my daily run last year and as soon as I stopped I felt this super intense dizziness. Fast forward a year and after 4 blood tests, an MRI on my brain, 2 ECGs a heart scan and a 7 day heart monitor with norhing found. I finally know whats causing it. The diziness after a run can last for hours. Is it safe to run then carry out this manoeuvre after? I really want to start running again but Im not sure and anxious about it. Thank you

This half somersault maneuver is very effective for BPPV although it can take several times doing the maneuver for it to work. If your vertigo isn’t from BPPV this maneuver won’t help. I do hope you get relief!

what helped was a nasal rinse but I did that everyday and I guess it didn’t drain all the time which caused me to be dizzy. I went to the ENT office and she did the exercise and I heard my ear click or pop and that solved everything.

I’ve been taking the Alpha Lepak acid along with Benfotamine aka B1 For probably 10 months now and it’s helped dramatically, especially with the restless leg syndrome and many of the other symptoms pins and needles and jolts. It would feel like I would be jolted like with electricity, but I still have some symptoms not fully 100% gone but drastically reduced. I had to go off of all supplements for two weeks for some testing I had to have done and oh my goodness the pain came back with a vengeance. It was horrific. I couldn’t believe how bad it was and I had been living with that level of pain before , you don’t have that pain for a while. You forget how bad it was. I couldn’t wait to get back on my supplements again. It scares me to think if I couldn’t get those supplements, what kind of pain I would be in.

Thanks for the tips doc, really trying to get rid of this case I've had for nearly a year now. Quick question though: How useful is massage, really? Specifically, is a direct/focused "pain that hurts good" type massage of the PF actually doing any good? Or would I be better off doing good 90 degree stretch of the foot + a general massage of the surrounding area and calf?

I have had peripheral Neuropathy caused by diabetes. Gabapentin did work great, but the side effects are considerable. In 2022 I got a pancreas transplant and am no longer diabetic, the neuropathy does not go away once you have it. I take Pregablin now, but, it too, has a plethora of side effects. Now I am looking into getting something to replace this.
